Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

To make the most out of eating at your favorite san francisco italian restaurant, here are some practical tips and guidelines for you.

1. Pile on free bread.

If it is your first time to dine at a San Francisco Italian restaurant, know that all Italian restaurants keep giving free bread; and the good news is that the bread comes coming. All you have to do is politely ask.

2. Enjoy your meal with a wine.

There have been many studies about wine drinking as beneficial to your health especially in reducing heart-related diseases. If you drink moderately, not only can you enjoy a great Italian dining experience, but you can also reduce your risk of having heart attacks.

3. Eat with a partner.

This serves as a warning. Italian dishes can be heavy on the stomach, so if you dine at a San Francisco Italian restaurant where most meals are good for more than one person, always take a partner with you.

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

There are many delicious restaurants in Los Angeles. If you are visiting Los Angeles, you are in the right city for trying some sushi. There are many excellent sushi restaurants in Los Angeles. Two must try sushi spots are Nick Haque Koi and Iroha. Both of these restaurants are in different parts of town. One is on La Cienga on West Hollywood and the other is on Ventura Blvd in the valley. Both are highly reviewed and have some delicious signature dishes. Iroha is a low key hidden gem. You could easily pass it without seeing it. It is almost one of those places where you would miss it completely if you didn’t know it was there. Koi on the other hand is a little easier to spot. Just look for the crowd of paparazzi. Koi is known for having a celebrity clientele. Iroha also has celebrity fans, but it is not as well known. Both restaurants have delicious baked crab handrolls. A favorite at Iroha is the Albacore with crispy onions. A signature dish at Koi is the spicy tuna with crispy rice.

The Main Difference Between Papa Johns Pizza and Other Food Outlet Chains Explored

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011

There is one main difference between Papa Johns Pizza and other food outlet chains. Before proceeding to look at the said difference, we may mention that the Papa Johns Pizza outlets chain in question is one of the most successful food businesses in the USA – with well over 2,600 outlets countrywide. A food business raking in well over a billion dollars in revenues is successful, by any account. Students of business coming across these assertions instantly want to know what the explanation for Papa John’s success is. More fundamentally, they express an interest in knowing what the difference between Papa Johns and other struggling food outlet chains is.

So, what is the main difference between Papa Johns Pizza and other food outlet chains we alluded to earlier?

Well, in our view, the main difference between Papa Johns pizza and other food outlet chains is in the fact that, through a relatively simple menu, Papa Johns gets the opportunity to concentrate on what it is best at, rather than being a Jack of all trades, and ending up being a master of none. Most other food chain outlets, on the other hand, seem to be obsessed with the need to offer their customers everything, which means that the food outlet chains in question end up with no known ‘specialties.’

The Snowdrop Festival – One of the More Genteel Edinburgh Events

Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

Every one loves snowdrops. Their appearance normally heralds the onset of spring and the end of the long cold, dark winter so to many people they have come to symbolise a new start. How fitting it is then that one of the many Edinburgh events that take place every year should be dedicated to this lovely little flower. Every year, the Snowdrop festival takes place in the months of February and March. There are displays at the Royal Botanic Gardens and Shephards House Garden where you can gaze in wonder at over an acre of them in the walled artists garden. Finally, there are snowdrops in the thousands to be seen on the outskirts of the city at historic Hopeman house which is just a short 15 minute drive from the city centre. Its one of the more gentle Edinburgh events in the city’s calendar but it’s a popular one nonetheless.

What to Expect at the Beginning of the Medifast Program

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

Hardly a day goes by that someone doesn’t ask me about the Medifast diet. I hear the same questions time and time again; they want to get an idea of what day-to-day life is like while actively involved in the program. This article should address the questions that I am hearing most frequently based off of my personal involvement with the diet program. As this is based on my own opinion, feel free to disagree with me; I’m sure that other people have had different experiences while on the program. It is my hope that this just gives everyone a basic idea of what to expect at the beginning of the Medifast program. Personally, starting up on the diet wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact, I really found myself enjoying some of the foods! For most diets you are concerned about how hungry you are going to be, but since you eat every few hours on Medifast this is not a problem. Of course I am not trying to say that starting the plan isn’t a big adjustment; starting any diet is an adjustment! I actually found it hard to eat as frequently as I needed to and needed some time to adjust to having all of my meals planned for me.

Restaurante Italiano Santa Cruz Restaurant Reviews

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

Restaurante Italiano Santa Cruz is a very popular spot to dine at. In this post, we are going to review this popular Santa Cruz restaurant. To maximize accuracy, we are going to review customers as they are leaving Restaurante Italiano Santa Cruz without telling them they are being reviewed.

What happened to Restaurante Italiano Restaurants Santa Cruz! We have been coming here for years! Has the ownership changed? What’s up! Before kids, it was a great “date night” and now with two kids it has been a great place to bring our kids. Recently, the host was cold, the service unremarkable, food ok and prices high for what it was.

Santa Cruz, CA

Not bad, just nothing special. A little overpriced as well if you ask me. They have a nice patio seating area, but the inside feels a bit funky and clostrophobic. Plenty of other Italian places in town that do better food for a better price.

Santa Cruz,CA

The food was good, but the service was very, very slow. The lobster ravioli was so-so; I’ve had much better. The veal parmigiana was very good, and the salad with balsamic vinegar dressing was excellent.

We booked before we went after having read the reviews on yelp, great advice! The service was great and food rustic Italian, it was delicious! I’d recommend the antipasti to share for starter & they will make your dinner to order, big thumbs up! The only niggle is it’s really load and the tables are extremely close, this didn’t bother us though.

Santa Cruz, CA

Overall the reviews of Restaurante Italiano Santa Cruz restaurant are mixed. I haven’t personally tried any of these restaurants Santa Cruz, so I cannot add my input on this subject. You will have to go for yourself and decide if you like Restaurante Italiano Restaurants Santa Cruz!

Good Coffee Makers

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

For people and businesses that need “professional” quantities of coffee and also require brews of a “professional” quality, a Bunn Coffee Maker such as the Bunn NHBX-B or a similar model is perhaps the recommended choice. First of all, you will find that these pro grade brewers are much faster than regular coffee machines. They make your coffee (and as much of it as you are likely to need) in 2 to 3 minutes instead of in 7 to 10. The flip side of this benefit is the much higher , but if you can live with that, then you are fine. Another advantage is that the brewer sports a dual coffee tank. One of these is maintained in a heated state at all times, whiles the other one is to be filled with a freshly made brew. It is this two tank system that guarantees the speed advantage but also increases energy consumption. You have the option of turning off one of the tanks, if you don’t mind waiting for the brew a bit longer.

The Day Of The Week Matters For Hotel Rooms

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

When you are bidding on a hotel room online, the day of the week you book your on room on can be the most important factor. Hotels will often give you a much better rate on certain days of the week; half moon bay hotels.

Business hotels and hotels in areas that get a lot of business travelers such as downtowns are more likely to have empty rooms on the weekends. These hotels may offer specials on weekends to get people to stay in their empty rooms. Some hotels that cater to business travelers may also offer special deals on luxury suites or honeymoon suites during the week because those rooms don’t appeal to business travelers.

Hotels that cater to tourists and leisure travelers on the other hand will often a lot of empty rooms during the week. Casinos and resort hotels often offer special deals and discounts on rooms during the week.

When It Comes To Food, I Love Anything Italian

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

As a Midlands caterer, I work with food – it’s my passion. I have many favorite foods, so this was a hard distinction to make, to choose my absolute favorite. However, after thinking about it a little bit, I decided that pasta, or any type of Italian food, was my favorite. I love the flavors, the sauces, and the variety of options. There is no shortage of pastas out there to eat, and that variety helps me to not get bored of this great type of food. I love that pasta is an affordable meal that can often taste like you spent much more time and money on it than you really did. Pasta fills you up and makes you feel full, which is also a good thing – pasta can go further than other foods because you need to eat less of it. I could go on and on with the list of reasons why pasta is my favorite food – the reasons are seemingly endless!

Egg Paratha – My Delicious Mouth-watering Recipe

Monday, June 21st, 2010

My favorite food is egg paratha. It is a special food because it takes a lot of time for its preparation. Working for a Leicester catering company, I love to prepare this dish for my clients.

It is prepared only during special occasions such as weddings and birthdays. Minced meat is mixed with spices and cooked. Onion is cut and fried slightly with green chilly and coriander leaves. Cooked meat and fried onion are mixed together. Wheat flour is battered and make into parathaas which are then cut into pieces and mixed along with meat. The eggs should be beaten and fried and this scrambled egg is also mixed with the meat. Finally, all these things together should be fried with enough oil and served hot. Onion, spices, meat and eggs together with wheat parathaas give it a delicious taste. As it is my favorite food, my mom makes it on my birthday every year.

Listen to Your Catering Customers

Friday, May 14th, 2010

Have you ever had one of those conversations where you felt like you were better off talking to the wall? Well, if you have, then you know how it feels, and know you would not want to make your clients feel that way. The feeling of being ignored, or treated like your opinion just does not matter, is not a good feeling. You know this is not a feeling anyone should feel, let alone, your customers. So it is very important to listen to your clients when they are doing business with you. It can be as simple as remembering a certain thing they say, or relating to their situation, to giving advice. You should always go out of your way to listen to whatever your mountain view catering customers may want to say. (more…)
